Good For The Farmer,
Good For The Land

At a time when farming is more difficult than ever, solar gives an opportunity to diversify your income.  Lease terms are for a minimum of 25 years and generally for far more per acre, per year than agricultural rates.  We also take care of any additional expenses and tax increases, any crop damage when we build and take care of all of the solar garden maintenance.  All you have to do is sit back and collect the check.

Why Solar?

Solar is one of the top sources of renewable energy in the world and today solar remains as popular as ever.  Another benefit to this ground mounted solar and battery storage is that it’s a modular build that can easily be decommissioned at the end of the rental period.

Lease your Land and Secure a Permanent Source of Income

Data Center Leasing: A New Kind of Land Opportunity

Power. Internet. Location.
If your land has the right mix, it could be ideal for data center development — and long-term income.

Data centers are the backbone of the internet and cloud computing — and they need land just like solar farms do. If your property is near 3-phase power, a substation, or a fiber optic route, it may qualify.

Demeter helps landowners like you explore data center leasing opportunities with enterprise and hyperscale clients. These leases can mean stable, long-term income without requiring you to sell your land or change how you use the rest of your property.

We handle the technical evaluation, developer connections, and negotiations — so you can focus on your land and legacy.

Generally 3 phase power lines are a series of 3 lines running on the top of a utility pole. Often times they look like a T with the lines running on top. Sometimes there are occasional exceptions to these configurations.

If the pole has only two wires near the top of the pole, with one above the other and there is no T-bar, this is a single phase line.

Wires not near the top of the pole should not be included in the total amount of wires as these are often for telecommunication lines and not power lines.
