Lease Or Sell Your Land to Solar

Can leasing your land for solar be a long term solution for your business?

We pay significantly more than agricultural rates and provide stable, hassle free income for decades.

Let Us Lease Or Purchase Your Land

If you have land near a 3-phase power line or electrical substation, we might be interested in leasing or purchasing your land for solar. Lets get in touch and discuss details.

Good For The Farmer

At a time when farming is more difficult than ever, solar gives an opportunity to diversify your income.  Lease terms are for a minimum of 25 years and generally for far more per acre, per year than agricultural rates.  We also take care of any additional expenses and tax increases, any crop damage when we build and take care of all of the solar garden maintenance.  All you have to do is sit back and collect the check.

Good For The Land

Before we start to build, we put a bond in place with the County for removal to assure that at the end of the lease term your property will be restored to the same condition it was left in.  We use very little concrete during the construction process and use a native deep seed mix under the panels to prevent erosion.  Our solar projects are oderless, noiseless  and do not produce any sound or reflections.

Good For The Community

Every project built costs millions of dollars.  In addition to upgraded electrical infrastructure immediately surrounding the site, each project means hundreds of thousands of dollars in local jobs, government permits and an economic stimulus to the immediate area where the project is built.

How It Works

We generally start with a thorough site review and prescreening. If we determine that your site meets the qualifications for the type of project we are looking to build, we will provide you with an options agreement that spells out the terms of our specific lease and gives us permission to build on the land. Our options are setup so that you can continue to use the land unimpeded right until we are able to build.

We then start working with the Utility and local government to get the permits necessary to build. This generally can take a few years. Once we are able to build, we give you notice and pay for any crop damage.
